About the ContestThe Contest is open to all members of the BSRA and from 2010 onwards is run concurrently with the British Amateur Recording Contest (BARC). The closing date is 31st May.. You can enter audio recordings on any subject within the time limits specified for the appropriate class in the BARC. Set subject: 2011 - “Laugh and Smile”, 2012 - “Game of Voices” Awards: The winner holds the Barry Cole Trophy for one year. Additional prizes are subject to availability. From 2004 each new winner is awarded a gold finish BSRA lapel badge. Formats: CD, DAT, Mini Disc, Compact Cassette, Open Reel (3¾ to 15 ips) To enter please use the BARC Entry Form and indicate whether you wish to enter the BSRA Contest or both.
